My complaint about Microsoft
There's a question that's been on my mind lately: Where do we go from here? I mean, Microsoft's left hand doesn't know what its right hand is doing. Before I begin, let me point out that Microsoft doesn't care about freedom, as it can neither sell it nor put it in the bank. It's just a word to it. Microsoft's scare tactics are like a Hydra. They continually acquire new heads and new strength. The only way to stunt their growth is to nourish children with good morals and self-esteem. The only way to destroy its Hydra entirely is to provide more people with the knowledge that you might say, "Experience shows that Microsoft's agendas are complete drivel." Fine, I agree. But Microsoft fervently believes that the most nutty fault-finders you'll ever see are all inherently good, sensitive, creative, and inoffensive. This shows that it is not merely mistaken about one little fact among millions of facts but that Microsoft's plan is to needle and wheedle sniffish New Age moochers into its coalition. Microsoft's devotees are moving at a frightening pace toward the total implementation of that agenda, which includes turning meanies loose against us good citizens. I guess what I really mean to say is that throughout history, there has been a clash between those who wish to overcome the obstacles that people like Microsoft establish and those who wish to turn a deaf ear to need and suffering. Naturally, Microsoft belongs to the latter category. What's the difference between Microsoft's disciples and eccentric, argumentative dirtbags? If you answered "nothing", then go to the front of the class; you're absolutely right. Our path is set. By this, I mean that in order to reach out to the poor, the marginalized, and those unfortunate enough to have been labeled as tasteless by Microsoft's propaganda machine, we must restore the ancient traditions that it has abandoned. I consider that requirement a small price to pay because I once told Microsoft that its effete pranks really raise my blood pressure. How did it respond to that? It proceeded to curse me off using a number of colorful expletives not befitting this letter, which serves only to show that if Microsoft thinks that it can make me endure its despotic tyranny in all its plenitude then it's barking up the wrong tree. With all due respect, Microsoft is capable of only two things, namely whining and underhanded tricks. Many of the people I've talked to have said that Microsoft and its toadies should all be put up against a wall and given traitors' justice. Without commenting on that specifically I'd merely like to point out that you don't need to be a rocket scientist to detect the subtext of this letter. But just in case it's too subliminal for some, let me thrust it into your face right here: To Microsoft's mind, its prognoses can give us deeper insights into the nature of reality. So that means that the laws of nature don't apply to it, right? No, not right. The truth is that if Microsoft wants to complain, it should have an argument. It shouldn't just throw out the word "undemonstrativeness", for example, and expect us to be scared. This has been a long letter, but I feel that its length is in direct proportion to its importance. Why? Because an unholy alliance of satanic cheapskates and primitive, self-absorbed hatemongers has been instrumental in devising increasingly contumelious ways to perpetuate myths that glorify blackguardism.
